POLICY ON WEB-SITE OPERATION

POLICY # 01-06

 

WHEREAS, Section 4.4 of the SBHOA#1 Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions (CC&R’s) grants the Board of Directors the authority to promulgate the rules and regulations of the Association; and, 

WHEREAS, Article III Section 2 of the SBHOA#1 Bylaws grants the Board of Directors the powers and duties necessary for the administration of the affairs of the Association; and, 

WHEREAS, the Board of Directors wishes to establish a reasonable policy for its web-site operation. 

NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the following guidelines and procedures shall be adopted. 

                 1.          The official web-site of SaddleBrooke Homeowners' Association #1 shall be Saddlebrooke.org.

                 2.          The web-site shall be used for the posting of announcements, information and operational data regarding HOA #1.  The web-site shall not be used for open-forum discussions.

                 3.          The Association shall maintain full authority over content, style, inclusions, changes and modifications to the web-site.

                 4.          The Association may employ a Webmaster as it deems necessary for the operation of the web-site.

                 5.          The Association may impose reasonable charges for the use of the site by approved entities.  A listing of web-site fees shall be adopted by the Association, and amended from time-to-time, as deemed appropriate.

                 6.          The Association shall designate one home page for each sanctioned/approved club or organization free of charge.  Fees may be imposed for additional pages and changes.

                 7.          A group or organization which is not sanctioned/approved by the Association, and which generally serves SaddleBrooke residents (as determined by the Association), may post its information on the web-site for an appropriate fee, or as determined by the Association.

                 8.          The Association reserves the right to edit, modify or change all submitted material prior to posting.  The Association also reserves the right to deny the request to post material, as it deems appropriate.

                 9.          In the event of non-payment by any entity for applicable web-site fees, the Association may cause the removal of the web-site listing for the entity.

      10.          Links to other approved web-sites will be free, except for approved commercial sites which shall be charged a fee.

bulletSix or less text changes per month (one picture/photo counts as one change) = no charge
bulletEach additional text/picture change above six per month = $5.00 each
bulletAdditional re-formatting & page restructuring at $10/hour
bulletIf materials not submitted in computer-readable form and/or if reformatting is required, an additional charge shall be applied as shown above. Computer-readable form shall be floppy disc, CD, zip or email. The association reserves the right to change or add to these rates at any time.

 

Non-Sanctioned Groups or Organizations (non-Commercial)

bulletInitial 1st Page set-up $50.00 (one-time charge). 
bullet2nd and additional page setup, per page (one-time charge) = $25.00
bulletOne free text change per month
bulletEach additional text change $5.00
bulletAdditional re-formatting & page restructuring at $10/hour
