Welcome to the SaddleBrooke HOA #1 Golf Information Site |

SaddleBrooke is a private golf facility 12 miles north of Ina Rd. in Tucson, Arizona. The course is owned by SaddleBrooke Homeowners’ Association #1, a private residential community, in which the course is situated. The golf course features three nine - hole courses (SaddleBrooke, Tucson, Catalina) which, when combined with one another, create three different 18-hole combinations.
Spectacular views of the Santa Catalina Mountains can be seen from all golf holes. The facility serves approximately 850 Annual golf members. Other homeowners who are not annual members are able to play golf by paying daily green fees.
The community is governed by an elected Board of Directors, which also has jurisdiction over the community’s golf operation. To assist the Board there are two active committees which advise and guide the Board’s decisions: the Golf Committee and the Greens Committee. The Golf Committee covers areas such as the Golf Shop, starting policies, reservations procedures and tournaments in general. The Greens Committee focuses on the physical maintenance and condition of the golf course itself.
SaddleBrooke HOA#1 features a complete range of golf facilities services and merchandise. The shop staff includes a Class A - PGA Golf Professional, as well as additional supports staff comprising starters, rangers, and retail merchandisers. In addition to the fully equipped golf shop located in the clubhouse, other facilities include: driving range, putting greens, club rentals, equipment for sale, apparel, lessons, grips, and club repair.
SaddleBrooke HOA #1 has some individual internal golf groups for those looking for organized golf activities, such as the Men’s Club (SBMGA), Women’s 18-hole (SBWGA) and Women’s 9-hole, and Ladies and Men’s putting groups. Some are shown below – just click on the name to find out more about the group. Leagues and other events are conducted by these various groups.
SaddleBrooke requires that all golfers who play the course or utilize the facilities wear acceptable golf attire. Acceptable attire for gentlemen includes slacks or shorts that extend below mid thigh. Denim is not appropriate nor are athletic shorts. Collared shirts must be worn. No tee shirts, tank tops, or similar shirts may be worn as outerwear garments. Metal spikes are not allowed
During golf hours, the golf course, and all associated cart paths, are restricted to use by golfers. Anyone not playing the courses is considered non-golfers. Non Golfers such as walkers and joggers may use the cart paths prior to the first scheduled tee time each day, but must vacate the course before the first tee-time. Since many golfers play well into the evening hours, there is no walking or jogging on the course until it is dark. These restrictions also apply to driving carts on the paths by non-golfers.
The golf operation has a course closure policy for purposes of maintenance, together with written Standards for maintenance. Periodically we also publish a Golf Course Report. You can find these documents in the header to this golf section. Fore!
